Shelter Drops Off Violent Woman at B&B

Tuesday July 15, 2003
Sometimes, innkeepers wind up hosting very interesting guests -- it's one of the joys of innkeeping. The flower power duo, the naturals, and the most wanted guest are three true examples. But the guest who recently visited an innkeeper in north Scotland wasn't quirky, offbeat, or interesting in any pleasant way. She was a woman who had attacked staff at a homeless shelter the night before. The kicker: this woman was dropped off at the B&B by the shelter's staff without a single warning regarding her behavior.
