Stiltsville Bed and Breakfasts?

Saturday August 9, 2003
Will Stiltsville, a collection of homes supported on giant stilts above Biscayne Bay's shallow waters off the south coast of Florida, be open to visitors as bed and breakfast getaways?

It's possible.

According to an article in the Miami Herald, The Stiltsville Trust has been formed to raise money and determine how to put the homes to public use for the first time.

More information about Stiltsville, including a map of the homes and photos of each, is available at Stiltsville.org.

If any of the homes is turned into a bed and breakfast, it would certainly qualify for inclusion among our collection of the world's most unique inns.
