Being a full-time innkeeper is tough work. And, often, innkeepers go years at a time without a vacation. Although they could hire a professional innsitter, many innkeepers don't feel comfortable doing that. The Louisville, Kentucky, Courier-Journal recently ran a story featuring an innkeeper taking her first vacation in five years.
