'Alternative Lodging' in New York City

The Biloxi, Mississippi, Sun Herald today features an article about bed and breakfasts in the heart of New York City. "Few visitors think bed-and-breakfast when planning their New York lodging," according to the article -- which goes on to quote the owner of one of my favorite NYC B&Bs, the Inn on 23rd in Manhattan. Of course, regular readers of this site know that New York is packed with great inns.
