Inns Tempt Guests with Gasoline

At the Kingsley House in Fennville, Michigan, guests recently were able to earn two gallons of gasoline for every one gallon of apple cider they purchased. According to the New York Times, "offbeat promotions like this one are on the rise" -- especially at bed and breakfasts. At Hummingbird Inn in Goshen, Virginia, for example, guests can earn a gallon of gas by collecting a bag of leaves.
