Can working as a bed and breakfast innkeeper prepare you to be an offensive coordinator in the National Football League? The Oakland Raiders apparently think so, having recently hired Tom Walsh -- whose most recent resume entry is as proprietor of Hansen-Silver Guest Ranch in Swan Valley, Idaho. To be fair, he's also a former NFL coordinator, working with the Raiders in the 1980s and early 1990s. But he's been out of the NFL since 1994, and columnist Monte Poole thinks it's probably unwise to hire an innkeeper as your offensive coordinator.
