Railroad B&B Reviewed in Newspaper

The Whistle Stop Inn Bed and Breakfast in New York Mills, Minnesota (which is featured in our article about railroad bed and breakfasts) was recently reviewed by a writer for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "As many as 50 locomotives a day pass by the Whistle Stop Bed & Breakfast, which was my base for a weekend of autumn wandering in Otter Tail County, about three hours northwest of the Twin Cities," wrote Chris Welsch. At the Whistle Stop Inn, two railroad cars have been converted to suites, and a suite and guest room are also available in the main house, which was built in 1903.
