Searching for a Perfect B&B

Kurt and Enid Scadden wanted to run a bed and breakfast, and they traveled to various countries before deciding on one. According to a report in the Fort Mill (South Carolina) Times, the Scaddens purchased a 400-year-old house in Polopos, Spain, only to learn that the previous owners had let the B&B license lapse and new regulations would require expensive renovations. Eventually, they found what they were looking for at the Boot Hill Bed and Breakfast in Dodge City, Kansas, a town of 26,000 residents nearly three hours west of Wichita. "It was perfect right from the start," Kurt Scadden told the newspaper.
