A German design school which operated in the 1920s and 1930s, and which influenced art and buildings around the world, is now open as a sort of bed and breakfast. The Bauhaus school, located in Dessau, Germany, was closed when the Nazis rose to power. In an article at Guardian.co.uk, writer Hans Kundnani says the facility "has been re-developed as a kind of boutique youth hostel."
