Thomas Shepherd Inn - Shepherdstown, West Virginia

Thursday August 6, 2009

Thomas Shepherd Inn in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, was originally designed to be a parsonage in 1868. Over time, it became a doctor's residence and office and then in 1983 it was converted to a bed and breakfast. Shepherdstown is the oldest town in West Virginia, and Thomas Shepherd Inn is the only bed and breakfast in town. In this interview with Thomas Shepherd Inn innkeeper Jeanne Muir, we learn about the inn's history and some of the many reasons to consider visiting Shepherdstown.

I highly recommend the Thomas Shepherd Inn. The innkeepers are the best around! You will feel welcomed the moment you step through their doors. A beautiful home and relaxing environment.

We stayed at this lovely inn and had a wonderful time! The whole town is historical and you can spend a whole day just walking around and enjoying the old buildings. They have a number of excellent restaurants and bars, too! We loved the inn and innkeepers.
