Historic Illinois Home Converted to B&B

Sunday August 16, 2009

Julia Todd, owner of the Bed and Breakfast at Historic Bell Hill in Cobden, Illinois, never planned to convert the home to a bed and breakfast. In fact, she never intended to buy the circa 1890 house at all. "I told my mother if I ever bought another old home to commit me because she would know I had lost my mind," Todd told The Southern. Today, the inn features three guest rooms plus a third-floor suite.
