San Marcos B&B Celebrates 25th Year

The Crystal River Inn in San Marcos, Texas, is celebrating its 25th year of operation this month. The 1883 Victorian home now boasts 12 guest rooms in three buildings. Innkeeper Mike Dillon recently told the San Marcos Record, "When we first started, not counting Jefferson, I think we were one of five bed and breakfasts in Texas." San Marcos is about 35 minutes south of Austin and about 50 minutes northeast of San Antonio.
