Midtown

  • Ivy Terrace -- Lively Location
    Located on East 58th Street between Second and Third avenues in midtown Manhattan, this townhouse offers four queen-bed studio suites with private entrances, 15-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, antique and period reproduction furnishings, and a kitchen stocked with breakfast items. Two rooms have their own terraces and two can accommodate four guests. Minimum stay may be required.

Upper East Side

  • 1871 House -- Uptown Style
    Antiques and reproductions embellish the six apartments (three studio and three 2-bedroom) of this 1871 brownstone in the East 60s less than three blocks from Central Park. All rooms have queen beds; most also have kitchens or kitchenettes and a twin bed. Hardwood floors, 10- to 12-foot ceilings and working fireplaces are featured in several rooms. Breakfast baskets are available for an additional fee; a four-night minimum stay is required with exceptions.

  • Gracie Inn, The -- Cozy Simplicity
    Located on East 81st Street in Manhattan's Upper East Side, the Gracie Inn offers 10 antique-filled apartments (studio or one-bedroom) with country decor plus two 2-floor, 2-bedroom penthouses, both with private sundeck patios and one with Jacuzzi) on five floors with elevator service. All rooms include a kitchenette and breakfast delivered to the door each morning.

Upper West Side

  • Country Inn the City -- Comfortable Independence
    The four studio apartments at this 1891 limestone townhouse on West 77th Street in New York City's Upper West Side feature approximately 550 square feet of living space with 10-foot ceilings, queen-sized beds, and kitchenettes with breakfast foods on arrival (not replenished). There is a three-night minimum and a limit of two guests per apartment.

  • Inn New York City -- Royal Romance
    Among the special features guests may find in the four luxurious suites at this late 19th-century townhouse on West 71st Street in Manhattan are a double-sized Jacuzzi next to a working fireplace (Spa Suite), leaded glass skylights (Library), a baby grand piano in an 18-foot raised-platform living room (Opera), and a Victorian iron spiral staircase (Vermont). Other amenities include a kitchen stocked with breakfast supplies and a washer/dryer; a two-night minimum stay is required with exceptions.

  • Wyman House -- Riverside Elegance
    This 1888 home on Riverside Drive at 76th Street boasts six queen-bed guest apartments, each offering a full- or queen-sized sleep sofa for an additional guest and a kitchen area with refrigerator and stove. Guests will find special touches such as a crystal chandelier, Oriental carpet, oversized bathroom, walk-in closets or river view. There is a three-night minimum stay except for the penthouse, which requires a stay of at least 14 nights. A continental breakfast basket is provided for the first morning only.

Harlem

  • 102 Brownstone -- Dramatic Retreat
    On West 118th Street near Malcolm X Boulevard and Marcus Garvey Memorial Park is an 1892 brownstone offering six striking accommodations, such as the Zen suite, boasting golds and reds and Asian-influenced décor, and the Chalet suite, containing a floral-stenciled armoire and French country look. All rooms include a queen bed, microwave and mini-refrigerator; the studio apartments have Jacuzzi tubs and kitchens. No breakfast provided.

  • Bed and Breakfast Mont Morris -- Apartment-style Living
    The Mount Morris Park Historic District of Manhattan is the setting for this 1896 four-story brownstone decorated with both antique and contemporary pieces. There are two ground-floor apartments with private entrances, each with a queen and a twin bed. One has an eat-in kitchen with a fridge and stove; the other includes a microwave and mini-fridge. Guests of this West 120th Street inn can enjoy a continental breakfast at a bakery on the same block.
