Bed and Breakfasts in Door County, Wisconsin
Wonderful B&Bs dot this peninsula county in eastern Wisconsin. When my husband and I traveled to Wisconsin to celebrate our anniversary, one of the best parts was our time in Door County.
Door County is on a peninsula on the easternmost side of Wisconsin. It's rich in history and home to many lighthouses. Visitors can also spend time in any of the state and county parks found on the peninsula. Other local activities include fishing, picking cherries, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.
A number of tour services are available to show you the sites in Door County, or you can rent a bike or moped and do it yourself.
Of course, any vacation is made better by staying at a great bed and breakfast. Door County offers visitors plenty of choices, which are listed below by community, generally from south to north along the peninsula (see this Door County Chamber of Commerce map).
