Ancestors Inn at the Bassett House - Haunted Bed and Breakfast

Ancestors Inn at the Bassett House is in Liverpool, New York, just outside Syracuse, New York.

Four rooms are available at this New York bed and breakfast.

We have a resident ghost at our inn. We think it might be one or both of the original owners, Hannah and George Bassett. In one room, the lights will turn on when no one is there. This room was probably the original owners' bedroom.

We also have items that we have lost in the house suddenly turn up. On some occasions, people have taken pictures, and if we are not in the room with them, the pictures don't turn out. They have their film developed and it's blank.

Several guests have brought cameras to breakfast and then they can't find them when they are leaving. The folks who have "misplaced" their cameras have had several things in common. They come down to breakfast with the camera, take a picture, and set the camera on the table. They go upstairs to get ready to leave and then come down asking if we've seen the camera. We look around the tables and it isn't there. They go back upstairs and get their stuff together and when leaving say, "Oh, it will turn up."

Strangely, they never seem too concerned about it! I'm more concerned than they are, but the cameras never appear in the rooms after they have left either.
