Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast is located in Fall River, Massachusetts, about an hour south of Boston.
Eight guest rooms are available at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast, including five on the second floor and three on the third floor. Some rooms share a bathroom.
Prices at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast range from $150 to $250 per night.
Breakfast here is designed to be similar to the one the Bordens ate on the morning of the murders. It includes bananas, jonnycakes (unleavened cornmeal pancakes), sugar cookies and coffee, in addition to breakfast staples.
The Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast is best known for being the place where many believe that Lizzie killed her parents with an ax. (She was acquitted at trial, but no one else was ever charged with the murders.)
More About Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast:
The Borden home in Fall River, Massachusetts, has been a landmark since the murders of Andrew and Abby Borden on Aug. 4, 1892. Erected in 1845, the Greek Revival house was originally a two-family residence. Andrew Borden later converted it to a single-family dwelling.
Since the killings, the house has most often been a private residence. Today, it serves as a bed and breakfast and a museum. Tours are given daily.
When restoring the home, the owners tried to make it as close as possible to how the Borden home would have looked in August 1892.
