Thayer's Historic Bed and Breakfast

From owner, chef and psychic Sharon Gammell:

Thayer's was built in 1895 by Gus and Caroline Thayer. Both Gus and Caroline visit us often. Gus has been know to leave pennies for us to find; I think it's a way to let us know he's been here.

As Michael Kreger, editor for the St. Cloud Times, wrote in his article on Thayer's, "Perhaps Gus is saying ... a penny for your thoughts ... in these rough and tumble '90s."

A number of other "guests" from the other side visit on a regular basis, and we have three ghost kitties, also. Yes, besides me, Thayer's has live and breathing witnesses, too.
