Dina Carden: Make it fit your lifestyle and your interests, first. Then accommodate your guests; if you're happy, they're happy! Also, don't forget to take time for yourselves. Don't become slaves to your house or you will become burnt out very quickly!
Block off weekends for your vacation or set up an innsitter to watch the house for you so you can have time away.
