Several years ago I was shopping in a gift shop and took one of their newsletters. It
included the following recipe. I've been serving it to guests ever since.
Ingredients:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8.5 x 4.5 x 2 loaf pan. Combine apples, sugar and oil. Add
egg, mixing well. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add to apple mixture,
mixing just until dry ingredients are moist. Stir in cranberries and walnuts. Spread
batter in pan. Makes 1 loaf.
