Inn on Crescent Lake
Excelsior Springs, Missouri Submitted by Hank Bovee: In addition to the lovely old house with its well-appointed rooms, the breakfasts were superb. I stayed here during a business trip to Kansas City. There were no hotel rooms to be found in the city; what at first I thought to be bad luck turned to good fortune, as the inn was far superior to any hotel.

Williams Mountain
Branson, Missouri Submitted by Jim Miller: You have to see the view from this place to believe it. The pictures on their web site try to show it, but you have to stand there on the deck to really appreciate the incredible beauty of the place. Mickey, the owner, is a wonderful hostess. We love this place.
