Little Rock Bed and Breakfasts

Little Rock is the largest city in Arkansas

By Elizabeth Arneson, About.com

Arkansas, the Razorback State, has been called "a state which should be better known," according to the World Almanac of the U.S.A. With a population of more than 183,000, Little Rock is the state's largest city.

If you'd like to be among those getting to know Arkansas better, your first stop should be About.com's Little Rock site, where Guide Amanda Galiano provides just about everything you could possibly want to know. The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau also has a useful web site.

Of course, a stay in a good bed and breakfast enhances any vacation. There aren't a lot of B&B options in and around Little Rock, but here are some great choices:

Empress of Little Rock
Little Rock, Arkansas
This inn has been described in the National Register of Historic Places as the best example of ornate Victorian Architecture in Arkansas.

Rosemont of Little Rock Bed and Breakfast
Little Rock, Arkansas
Built in 1880 as a gentleman farmer's in-town estate, Rosemont is the only authentic Victorian era farmhouse remaining in Little Rock's vast Quapaw Quarter Historic District.

Miss Martha’s Pine Hill Bed and Breakfast
Cabot, Arkansas
This small inn offers a private cottage with two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed. The cottage also features a full bath and a full kitchen.
