Do bed and breakfasts accept children?

By Elizabeth Arneson, About.com

Question: Do bed and breakfasts accept children?
Answer: Many bed and breakfasts do welcome children. However, even those that do are not always the best place to bring children.

Before you bring children to a bed and breakfast, please consider whether they are well-behaved and mature enough to stay at a B&B, where there can be a lot more interaction with other guests than a hotel.

Do not assume that a bed and breakfast will welcome children unless its web site says so explicitly. If an inn's web site is silent on this issue, be sure to ask before making a reservation.
