Question: Do we have to interact with other guests at breakfast?
Answer: Not necessarily. However, some bed and breakfasts do serve breakfast at one large, common table. That makes interaction almost unavoidable (which many people consider to be a large part of the B&B charm).
Other inns provide breakfast at smaller, sparate tables which are more private and make interaction with other guests more difficult.
If this is an important issue for you, be sure to ask about the breakfast seating arrangements before making a reservation.
