Lemon Bars

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons real lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon milk
Preparation:
Crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8-inch pan. Mix first three ingredients and put in pan. Bake for 20 minutes.

Filling
Mix next five ingredients and pour on baked crust. Bake 20 minutes more.

Frosting
Mix final four ingredients and spread on bars quickly while still warm. Sprinkle with mixed color decors. Store in refrigerator.
