1. Sugar Cookie with Options

From Prospect Hill Bed and Breakfast Inn in Mountain City, Tennessee. Innkeeper Judy Hotchkiss has included numerous options to make your cookies unique.

2. Raspberry Thumbprint Cookies

From Candlelite Inn in Bradford, New Hampshire, where innkeeper Marilyn Gordon says, "My favorite holiday cookie is the Raspberry Thumbprint Cookie. These are fastgoers for the holidays and I also use this same recipe for Valentine's Day. Chocolate and raspberry sure go together."

3. Peppermint Cookies

From The Inn at Cedar Falls in Logan, Ohio. Innkeeper Ellen Grinsfelder does wonders with just 1/2 cup of crushed peppermint candies.

4. Melting Moments

From The Baker Brewster in Hudson, Wisconsin. Innkeeper Dawn Kleinknecht says, "My cookie recipe is a family tradition passed on to me from my mother. We enjoy these wonderful cookies at our family holiday get-together on Christmas Eve. They are also a favorite with our Victorian Christmas Tea guests. Enjoy!" 5. Christmas Gingerbread

From Twelfth Night Inn in Staunton, Virginia. Innkeeper Innkeeper Juliette Swenson admits, "Not exactly a cookie, but still!" I can't disagree.
