The Castle Inn Riverside Bed and BreakfastMore About The Castle Inn Riverside:
Built in 1888, this castle was duplicated from architectural drawings of the "mother" castle built in the foothills of Scotland. In 1973, the Campbell Castle was entered on the National Register of Historic Places.By 1994, the Castle was in serious need of restoration work. Current innkeepers Terry and Paula Lowry purchased the property and began restoring the structure to its original beauty. The electrical and plumbing systems were completely replaced, and the third floor ballroom level was converted into five luxurious suites.
The Carriage House, which had been condemned by the city and was crumbling, was rebuilt. It now houses three suites and the Lowrys' apartment.
