Race Point Lighthouse is in Provincetown, Massachusetts, which is at the very tip of Cape Cod. Provincetown is about 2 hours and 15 minutes away from Boston and from is about the same distance from Providence, Rhode Island.
Guest Rooms:
The Keeper's House has three guest rooms. The Green Room offers two full-size and one single bed. The Yellow Room and the Blue Room offer one full-size and one single bed each. The lighthouse bed and breakfast provides pillows and blankets, but guests need to bring their own linens. These three rooms share one full bath plus a half-bath. The Whistle House (rented on a weekly basis, Saturday to Saturday) has two bedrooms and one bath. It can accommodate up to eight people. Guests in the Whistle House must provide their own four-wheel drive vehicle.
Price Range:
The nightly rate for the three rooms in the Keeper's House ranges from $145 to $185, depending on the room and the time of year. The weekly rate for the Whistle House is $2,500.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is not provided. However, the Keeper's House and the Whistle Stop each have a fully-equipped kitchen available for guests.
Special Features:
Race Point Lighthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. Guests at this Massachusetts bed and breakfast are surrounded by unspoiled beach with panoramic ocean views. Previous guests have reported seeing whales, seals, dolphins, and many kinds of birds. Fishing available in the area includes striped sea bass and blue bass.
