Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 (20-ounce) can of crushed or chunk pineapple (fresh pineapple when in season)
- brown sugar to taste
- about 1 cup of crushed baking walnuts
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together sugar, butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla. Then mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and pineapple.
Grease a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Spread mixture in dish and sprinkle brown sugar and baking walnuts over mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
