More About Kokopelli's Cave Bed and Breakfast:
The cave was originally intended to be a unique geologic office for Bruce Black who is a consulting geologist. It served as a residence for about a year before being used as a bed and breakfast.

As their web site says, "You really have to want to come to Kokopelli's Cave." Getting here is not particularly easy. On the night they arrive, guests check in at the innkeeper's home so they won't get lost walking to the cave.

The cave itself is 70 feet below the surface. The entrance is located in a cliff face. To reach it, guests must walk down a sloping path with intermittent steps cut into the sandstone. A short ladder at the bottom of the path lands you on the flagstone porch, which is the front entrance to Kokopelli's Cave.

Guests who are not in shape should not stay at Kokopelli's, and all guests are required to sign a waiver of liability against potential accidents -- remember that this B&B really is carved into the face of a cliff. And packing light never made more sense than if you're staying here.
