Southcentral U.S. - Recommended Inns

Recommended bed and breakfasts in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
1870 Banana Courtyard
New Orleans, Louisiana: Travlin' CC - The French Quarter is wonderful place to explore day and night. Music, dance, food, history, architecture, collectibles and junk. This B&B is in a great location with helpful hosts. Can't wait to go back. Rates just what I could afford. Their suggestions for free tours, inexpensive restaurants and clubs were what I needed on tight budget.
Cliff Cottage
Eureka Springs, Arkansas - Nancy Geibe: In the heart of Eureka Springs with Jacuzzi suites, complimentary champagne or wine, and gourmet breakfast delivered to your door. Massages, weddings, and romantic dinners.
Dreyfus House
Livonia, Louisiana - Doris White: Half an hour west of Baton Rouge, this circa 1860 house is in the heart of Louisiana's fabulous eating, fishing, hunting, farming and plantation country. Innkeeper Karen Guillory is a truly delightful person.
Inglewood Plantation
Alexandria, Louisiana - Aza Downs Bowlin: We celebrated our wedding reception here and retired to Matt's Cabin for our wedding night. The staff extended themselves in every way; our stay was intimate and personal. The home and grounds are beautifully appointed. You won't find a more charming, elegant and comfortable place to stay nearby. As a traveler with discerning taste, I highly recommend it.
Maplehurst Inn
Knoxville, Tennessee - A.J. Saunders: A wonderful 11-room inn in the heart of downtown Knoxville on the Tennessee River. Hosts Sonny and Becky Harben are well-travelled -- Sonny was a pilot; Becky is a nurse. Sonny also makes a great quiche.
Peacock Hill Country Inn
College Grove, Tennessee[/]i: Pam Butler - My husband and I stayed here and loved it. Very nice rooms in the inn: a small two story house separate and a grainery suite. It's located in the beautiful countryside of middle Tennessee. You can also make reservations for dinner ahead of time.
