Ketchikan, Alaska - Dan Foreman: Pleasant owner offered lots of information on sites and events. Spectacular room view; whales and dolphins were seen several times. I enjoyed the wildlife, local and tribal art, unique shops, and wooden sidewalks.

The continental breakfast was freshly baked. All the rooms are decorated in Victorian style. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance (as was the Train Museum). Everyone enjoyed our visit there.
