The strangest thing that ever happened to us as innkeepers would probably be a family that stayed with us our first year. They were not shy about being seen in the buff!
We didn't think too much of the two little boys running around our backyard all day since they were so young. But then I delivered a message and the parents answered their door in just their underwear, and the father retrived the children from the backyard in just his underwear. We were quite surprised!
We later found out this is common in their country and to expect others from there to do the same.
