CANADA

British Columbia

Located 300 miles northwest of Vancouver and accessible only by air, this lodge is made up of floating cedar cabins, which can house 26 guests, in a quiet bay five minutes from the fishing grounds.

  • Seaside Bed and Breakfast
    Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
Guests can stay in the beach house or the owners' 35-foot sailboat at Deep Bay, on the east coast of Vancouver Island, and can go sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing or bird watching.

Ontario

  • Alexander Henry Bed and Breakfast
    Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Launched in 1958 to supply ice-breaking service and retired in 1984, the Alexander Henry hosts up to 48 guests in a range of cabins from late May until October; proceeds are used for maintenance of the ship and the operation of the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston.

  • Windship Berth and Breakfast Sailing Adventures
    Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada
No More Hassles, a 1982 36-foot sloop with two private cabins plus salon bunk beds for children (but no shower on board), sails the Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands region in southern Ontario, featuring made-to-order vacations, two- and three-day getaways, and week- and month-long excursions.
