Location: Preston, Minnesota
Inn Size: 12 rooms and suites, including one in an original cell block.
Price Range: $62 to $165 per night.
Breakfast: JailHouse Inn provides "from scratch" breakfast dishes for guests.
Special Features: All rooms have private baths. The Cell Block Room allows guests to sleep behind bars, but it has two queen-size beds, a whirlpool tub, a private entrance and a porch. The origincal courtroom is also now a guest room, with a sitting area and a private bath.
More About JailHouse Inn: The JailHouse Inn Bed and Breakfast was originally built in 1869 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was used as a jail until 1970.

In 1987, it was purchased and converted to a bed and breakfast and it opened as a B&B in 1989. It closed briefly in 1991 but soon reopened with new owners and has been serving guests ever since.
