Rates range from $1,300 for some of the rooms in the Main House to $3,000 for the Chalet cottage. (Rates are for two people and they include all meals, beverages, and full use of any on-site recreation and equipment.)
In addition to the Dining Room, Barn Room and Wine Cellar, the Main House contains four guest rooms with fireplace, sitting area and pastoral view. Near the Main House is the Lodge, with main porch, terraces, shared living room, and two suites, each with a private entrance, fireplace, window seat, steam shower, and Jacuzzi or soaking tub.
There are also nine private cottages:
- The Chalet, with more than 3,000 square feet of space, featuring a living room, dressing room, his and hers baths, two fireplaces and terraces.
- The Perch, with sitting area, alcove bed, fireplace and screened porch.
- The Treehouse, with stone fireplace, vaulted ceiling and screened porch.
- The Orchard, with two granite fireplaces, bamboo-framed marquetry table, and wall of windows.
- The two-story Barn, with an open fireplace between the bedroom and living room as well as a loft with daybed.
- The Meadow, with Moroccan decor, mosaic tile fireplace, and 13-light, pierced tole chandelier with colored glass.
- The Woods, with Tuscan touches, hand-thrown red-brick fireplace and screened porch.
- The secluded Log Cabin, with a dog theme, handcrafted furnishings and river rock fireplace.
- The two-story Studio, the largest cottage, with a foyer, half bath and living room with fireplace on the ground floor and a bedroom with fireplace, bath and reading nook upstairs.
Among the on-site amenities are spa treatment rooms, in-room massage services, furo (with several soaking tubs), fitness center, tennis and croquet courts, and pub (with pool table and open stocked bar). Recreational activities include canoeing, lake swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, cross-country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and sleigh riding. Also, a Robert Trent Jones golf course is nearby at the Woodstock Country Club.
Guests can expect world-class cuisine with American and European influences and using fresh regional products. The Main House is the setting for all meals, but guests can also have breakfast in their rooms or on a porch or take lunch as a picnic.
