More About the Hummingbird Inn:
The Hummingbird Inn was originally built in 1780. About 70 years later, in 1853, it was expanded to its current size. Through the years, it has served as a hotel and a lodging house in addition to being a bed and breakfast.
The home still features original pine floors, a working stone fireplace in the den, a solarium and a spacious dining room.
Nearby are Mill Creek (a trout stream) and many miles of trails. Innkeeper Dick Matthews is an experienced hiker and can help you plan a day of exploring nature.
