Riverbend Inn in Chocorua, New Hampshire

Chocorua, New Hampshire, which is about an hour and 45 minutes north of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Guest Rooms:

10 rooms are available, and six rooms have private baths. Five rooms have king-size beds, three have queen-size beds, one has a full bed and one has two full beds. All rooms include plush cotton terry robes, an air conditioner, cable television, and wireless high-speed Internet. Room 4 includes a private deck, Room 10 provides a nice view of the bend in the river (for which the B&B is named), and Room 6 features a king-size bed with a carved headboard and an antique mirrored armoire.

Price Range:

$100 to $250 per night.

Breakfast:

A multi-course breakfast is served each morning in the dining room or (weather permitting) on the riverside deck. The innkeepers often use fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables from thier own garden, along with produce from nearby growers and locally produced honey, syrup and cheese.

Special Features:

This New Hampshire inn's name comes from its location along the Chocorua River, which meanders through the property's 15 acres of gardens, meadows, and pine forest. Rivberbend Inn has a variety of special packages available for guests, including massage, a romance package with champagne and flowers, and canoe trips on Lake Chocorua. The inn's "Tranquility Base" offers a quiet getaway: floors, walls and ceilings are covered with carpets and textiles to provide an ideal location for relaxation or meditation.

A special wedding package is available, including the rental of all 10 guest rooms. Innkeepers Jerry Weiss and Craig Cox, who relocated from Los Angeles in 2002, have decorated the inn with antiques and original art.

Nearby attractions include Mt.
