This Relais & Chateaux property has appeared on the Conde Nast Traveler Gold List and received the AAA Five-Diamond and Mobil Five-Star awards.

Rates range from $410 to $950 on weeknights. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights cost additional.

This Colonial country retreat provides nine rooms and five suites, all resplendent with luscious fabrics and magnificent furnishings; some rooms offer a balcony. It's difficult to believe that this romantic two-story white clapboard inn was once a general store and then a gas station and garage.
