Honolulu, Hawaii - Bed and Breakfasts

Home to Waikiki Beach, Pearl Harbor and amazingly delightful temperatures

By Elizabeth Arneson, About.com

I've only been to Honolulu as a beautiful stop on the way to Maui, but it's on my list of places to spend a lengthy vacation. With scenery second to none and temperatures often in the 80s (Fahrenheit), it's quite an understatement to say that Hawaii is a premiere vacation getaway.

Honolulu is located on the island of Oahu, where visitors also find Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor. And the natural beauty is no myth. The water really is that blue, warm and clear!

If you're planning a trip to Honolulu, make your first stop About.com's Hawaii and the South Pacific for Visitors, where you'll find some wonderful resources. This is just the tip of the iceberg:

Of course, Honolulu is home to some incredible hotels. But if you want to see the island how it was meant to be seen, stay in a local bed and breakfast.

John's Hawaii for Visitors site features a nice list of bed and breakfasts on Oahu, and you also can browse the listings at this site's Bed and Breakfasts in Hawaii page.

Aloha!
