Personal Recommendation:
I booked the Charles Churchill Room for my husband, Erik, when he was traveling to Wisconsin for a Green Bay Packers game. He said innkeepers Mike and Kerri Thiel were extremely accommodating and helpful (due to a last-minute change in travel plans, he could not check in until about 10 p.m.). The full breakfast was delicious, and the room was very comfortable.
Although he arrived late and had to leave the next morning, he also said the property -- covered by about six inches of snow while he was there -- seemed to offer plenty of opportunities for leisurely walks.
