Both the farm house and barn were originally built in 1915, but have been renovated to provide modern accomodations. Chanticleer Guest House Bed and Breakfast has an adults-only policy. The rooms and suites are decorated with period antiques and comfortable furnishings.
Two of the four cottages were built in 2005, and three of the four can accomodate four adults. They each have a full kitchen, a porch swing, cable television with a DVD player and VCR, a gas grill, and laundry facilities. Cleaning service is provided every other day.
Sturgeon Bay's Chanticleer Guest House specializes in honeymoons. The August 2007 issue of Milwaukee magazine described the inn as the "love farm." Honeymooners receive a complimentary bottle of wine, and the innkeepers can arrange for other special touches such as fresh flowers and chocolate.
